An inventory (2) are a collection of abandoned objects located within a country house and presented according to their specific characteristics, while also being reconsidered for the qualities they present and their sense of utility. Documented against the wall of a Taisho period farm storage building or on sun bleached tatami mats the individual pieces are amassed on shelves, stacked or arranged with their respective counterparts. There is a painterly quality that is intentionally applied in the selection, arrangement and display.
